The .Hack series is a mutimedia franchise created by CyberConnect2. It focuses on events based around an in-universe MMORPG called The World. .hack//G.U.  focuses on event after the 1st game, taking on the role of Haseo, tracking down a player killer named Tri-Edge, who killed Haseo’s friend in-game avatar Shino & subsequently due to the mystery events surrounding The World, puts his friend in a come in real life.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a remaster of the original PS2 .hack//G.U. action-RPG trilogy (Rebirth, Reminisce and Redemption) in one package complete with all the bells & whistles that brings. Updated 1080 graphics, 60FPS, 16:9 widescreen support, gameplay & balance changes among other yet to be announced features.
In addition of the complete set of games & gameplay balances, etc. .hack//G.U. Last Recode will feature a optional Cheat Mode for those that prefer a more casual or story focused experience.
