Otaku’s Fantasy follows the life of a downtrodden man called Nonaka Kouhei. He can’t hold a job to save his life and spends his days fapping while living by himself in his dirty little apartment. It’s quite the depressing setup though his luck is soon to change once he accepts a job as a cleaner for a prestigious company. On his first day on the job he quickly finds himself in awe of all the beautiful women walking around as well as the lavish environments that surround them. Things go rather normally for Kouhei for a while as he goes about his job until one day he decides to slack off and sneak in a quick nap within a place he believes to be unoccupied. It is not, and he finds himself in a situation where he either accepts sex from a good-looking actress or she accuses him of harassment.
Given that it is a win-win scenario for our otaku protagonist, he bravely takes one for the team and complies. After discovering how big his member was word quickly spreads that the janitor is packing and slowly gains the attention of yet more rich, beautiful women. No doubt you’ve noticed by now that this plot is hardly a step up from your generic porno and that is exactly right. Neither the plot nor the characters are the primary focus here; it is all about the sex. As soon as you receive your first lewd bit, it is nearly one after another from then on out with little else to break them up. If you are looking for any emotional attachment or meaningful choices to make, you will not find it here since it is an entirely passive experience.
Kouhei who has never been with a woman before that incident finds himself in a state of disbelief over what just happened. Due to the rumors of his titan sized schlong he soon finds himself in a position where women offer him large sums of cash to satisfy them. Since this is a hentai title, they are all unsurprisingly gorgeous and have breasts that likely make up most of their overall body weight. There are five girls overall, each being distinct from one another, both personality & appearance wise. They are all fully voice acted as well, allowing them to stand apart even more. I wouldn’t go as far as calling any of these women likable, but you certainly won’t be mistaking one for another or forgetting who they are.
Being a game that mainly focuses on sex, it does offer up quite a bit in that regard. There are a ton of different intimate moments to see across all five of them and each does last a fair bit. Most of it is consensual “vanilla” sex, though there are a few rape scenes against a certain girl, while another does like to introduce urine into the mix should that be off-putting. You don’t really have a choice in the matter. What few options you have are based on how much you charge them for your services, with any decision made leading to the same answer from these wealthy women. There are no routes to take or replay value either since you will end up involved with all of them at once. They couldn’t care less and are all too accepting of inviting other people into their lovemaking session.
Given that this game is solely about the lewd scenes, I see no reason why anyone shouldn’t download the free patch that uncensors all of it. In its default state both the nipples and the genitals have white mist blocking them from view. It is hardly appropriate for work or for the younger audience’s eyes even with that effect so may as well remove it. Once you’ve downloaded and installed that patch, breasts will be completely uncensored while genitals are blurred since that is how the art was in its original state. So it’s a fully voiced acted, two dollar hentai game with plenty of scenes. Is there anything wrong with it you may be thinking by now. Why yes, yes there is. The English translation is awful. It is bad enough to ruin what are meant to be sexy moments by unintentionally turning them comical. That is pretty severe in this type of visual novel.
You’ll always understand what they are trying to get across, but conversations do feel unnatural as they talk in a way native English speakers would not. That’s while it is at its best, on its worst things get strange fast. On one occasion they flat out got the dialogue swapped on a line that read “my penis is aching for you” with a female speaking it. If that doesn’t stun you into an awkward silence nothing will. Our adventurous lifestyle as a janitor will last around two hours and a half. You do have little reason to replay it, but there is a nifty Gallery feature which allows you to see any unlocked art or fully relive any sex scene if you so choose. Otaku’s Fantasy has a substantial amount of content to offer, especially for its price. However, its primary focus is seriously hampered by the poor English translation. If you can put up with that, this is a solid title for those looking to play a quick and cheap H game.
