Artwise, Aoi is the typical faceless VN dude so not much expected out of him. Sora being the main draw, is drawn pretty decently & her varied expressions make her charming enough. Backgrounds are also decent enough at their job of immersion. Music was serviceable & went with the tones well enough. The game will present choices that are handled in a timed manner, either you pick one or let the timer run out & the game will carry one with a suitable alternative, be it good or bad. Story & text on the other hand, were a trip through cringe town 9 times out of 10. Aoi is written to be the most shut in edge lord otaku whose only love is 2D girls & Sora’s façade of a cute girl is shattered rather rapidly when her every other word involves some sort of innuendo or ‘get in my pants’ scheme & the occasional, “I’m a shy girl.” thing that quickly disappears. Ultimately, this being a romance VN, they get it on, nothing major, just some short texts & static images of the girl in a SFW way, but all throughout the cringe is there, there is no escape. The ‘sex scenes’ I felt where in no way necessary or better off being expanded upon & sold elsewhere to a mature audience, rather than having a tepid game on Steam. The endings ranged from somewhat funny to “What & why?” & ending abruptly, the true end being an interesting twist but in no way worth the hassle of playing this game.
At the end of the day, this a short game, 2-3 hours’ worth, with nice art but meh story. Do not be fooled by the “uncensored” art if that is what you are buying it for, there isn’t much to see outside of the beginning. I for one do not recommend this game at its full sale price, either get in a bundle or wait for a sale.
