Recently dropped tweet by Atlus reveals the newest & final entry to the Etrian Odyssey series for the 3DS with Etrian Odyssey X (Cross). This culmination to the series on the DS & 3DS line of handhelds will be jam packed with plenty of the things found in the earlier entries such as sub-classes (EO3 & 4), “Force Boost”/”Force Break”, character creation (EO5), difficulty modes, etc. Also to be included is 18 of the popular classes for all games plus the addition of the “Hero” class for this entry, so you will have plenty of characters to make your parties. this is a completely new game set in a new land called Lemuria & with it multiple new dungeons to be found & explored. First-Print runs will include the “New Adventurer Illustration Pack” DLC pack consisting of art for 5 classes by:

Etrian Odyssey X is making is releasing in Japan on August 2nd later this year. No word of worldwide release but I eagerly await nonetheless.
