Capcom went & dropped a new trailer revealing the Wildspire Wastes. A massive, dry expanse with swamplands filled with monsters than can survive this harsh environment. Notable inhabitants shown are the Brute Wyvern Barroth, with its massive forehead able to crush the strongest of hunters to a pulp & its mud slinging able to trap them makes for a formidable foe. A Lavasioth look alike that may be a subspecies because as the name suggests it makes its home in volcanoes. A derpy looking bird wyvern with a penchant for round objects it seems. Another chameleon like monster, Diablos & hints of what seems to be an Elder Dragon… and a dung beetle*.
Monster Hunter: World comes to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One early 2018, with a PC version coming at a later date.
*Cornellio the Dung Beetle is to be feared.
